How users could benefit from a Google – Apple collaboration

The two competitors, Apple and Google, are fighting over mobile operating system features to give their users the best experience out of it. In the last year, these two were publicly friends, in many apps of Google using in iPhone but the scenario changed with Android operating system from Google, they entered Apple realm with it and this year Apple has announced iAd in their next generation iPhone OS to compete with Google’s mobile advertising revenue.

Google is best at providing simple and effective user interface with its featured applications while Apple is great at creating robust hardware and use it to make innovative apps and OS. If these two software giant worked hand in hand, users would be the most profit from it. Like Google docs is best for cloud computing while Apple iWork suite is dedicated to make beautiful documents, they could be much better if were compatible with each other file types, if Apple and Google share same browsers, surfing will be a lot easier.

Android and iPhone OS 4.0 are two most advanced mobile operating systems available to men, with unique features from both side that are not available to another, if there was any collaboration to make a unified multiplatform operating system to run apps for both, would bring a new era in mobile interfacing and application usage.

Apple and Google have similar goal, to bring innovative ideas that will simplify the task of their users but they have different approach, Apple have their elegance and Google always try to be easy to use, both needed for any user, one of the reasons for which they need the tie up. There was a fairly good friendly relationship among them till last year that if continued would be a great breath of relief to the users as well as profitable to both of the companies.
