Microsoft handing out Windows Phone 7 devices to every employee
Microsoft seems a little serious about its new upcoming WP7 Windows Phone 7 OS. Microsoft is handing out its Windows Phone 7 device to its every employee to test out the Windows Phone 7 OS. Microsoft also said to its staff to make Apps for the device on their own. That means Microsoft wants to test out if there will be any bug problem later. Microsoft the software Giant has promised to give a free Smartphone to its employees at its Global Exchange meeting, to test out the WP7 OS.
That means all of the staff members going to get a WP7 device before the holidays. The mobile chief Andy Lees of Microsoft is actually suggesting to their employees to develop apps for the device on their own spare time. As the Andy Lees said “We’ve introduced a new employee developer program which makes it much easier for you to develop apps for Marketplace in your spare time,” Well there was no indication what if any employee completely ignores it and uses other device.
Andy Lees said “Understand the unique value of Windows Phone 7 and evangelize to your customers, partners, friends and family! Windows Phone 7 is a different kind of phone,” he encouraged all employees to get personal with the WP7 device. So that will be a good decision by Microsoft handing out a WP7 device to all of its 93,000 employees. Many people say that Microsoft got this way to keep away its employees to use Apple iPhone.
Now we have to see that will Microsoft be handing out the handset to their employees before the official release date. It’s a rumor or not that these devices will be the test subjects for WP7 before the actual release. Well let’s see how this formula goes out in the favor of Microsoft.
