ASUS Eee PC 1018P and 1015PE Review
1018P and 1015PE have out of manuscript standard netbook internals unveiled by ASUS (an Intel Atom N450 CPU, 1GB of RAM and Windows 7 Starter), but with no doubt they’re some of the high quality netbooks ASUS has made for you.
Both the Eee PC 1018P as well as the 1015PE is members of the Eee PC Seashell bloodline, looking cousins both. The 1018P happens to be our favorite in terms of ethics, and aesthetics – it’s has a jet black aluminum lid and also palmrest (you can find it in silver radiance) while the bottom is packed in a black matte plastic for more enhanced looks.
It’s right to have a second to thank ASUS for getting rid of the glossy lids that have been infecting Eee PC after Eee PC! But back to the 1018P, it has a superior professional, equilibrium look, and the battery is flush with the bottom. It’s one of the thinnest, crispy and lightest never-ignominy compelling netbooks we’ve ever had in our hand and wanna measures it, it measures 7-inches at its thickest point and weighs around 2.4 pounds. Are you thinking of this ultimate gadget that is slender enough?
On the other flip side the 1015PE is a business casual with its soft-to-the-touch maroon aluminum lid, which you can have in pure black, navy, and white. The chassis design and size is remembering velvet graph of the Eee PC 1005PE with its rounded corners and thicker base.
What about height? It’s quite a bit thicker than the 1018P, it’s exact 1.4 inches at its thickest point and the six-cell battery does project slightly from the underside. It’s really the best altitude degree of the best brain feeding.
