Pandigtal Novel – Down The Lane To Follow iPad
First look sometimes decides many things on how you handle it, and Pandigital’s Novel is definitely a decent looker among the other tablets down the path behind iPad to follow it. A nice white or black strip wrap up around the screen makes the Novel along with Wi-Fi Switch and Volume switch. It
runs on a skinner miniature version of the Android Operating System powered by 256 MB RAM that ensures smooth performance on its 600 x 800 screen resolution of 7” display. The onboard memory size is 2 GB but Micro-SD card is there in case users need more space up to 8 GB.
The screen is sturdy and vivid enough to ensure hassle free reading even under vivid sunlight. But in effort to make the touch scratchproof, the touch loss output has been much greater than it should be, that makes it hard to turn a page of any active eBook by a single flip of finger on the screen. However, the stylus attached make sure that doesn’t happen while reading or in browsing.
Like many other tablets, this also may suffer the lack of communication because of the absence of a 3G SIM support onboard. However, at a low $180 price and decent slim look, this may be the choice of many users who can’t afford Apple iPad at a three time greater price than the Pandigtal Novel.
