Samsung Galaxy Tab – iPad has a formidable rival in the market

Samsung Galaxy Tab also being called iPad Killer is hoping to take away market share from Apple’s iPad. Korea’s electronic giant Samsung unveils the features of this device that will run on Google’s Android 2.2 operating system. The 7-inch multi touch screen tablet is loaded with 3.2 MP rear camera and a front camera for video calla too. Two cameras in the device as compared to iPad which has none will definitely going to attract customer’s interest. 3G and Wi-Fi are well supported by the device.

Galaxy Tab has a 16:10 aspect ratio with a 7 inch screen as compared to iPad’s 4:3 aspect ratio screen with 10 inch screen. Though iPad’s aspect ratio is suited for viewing books and websites, Galaxy Tab’s widescreen aspect ration is better suited to watch videos.

Samsung Galaxy Tab is also believed to come loaded with a microSD card slot and an internal memory of 16GB or 32GB similar to Galaxy Tab. With this microSD slot on board Galaxy Tab makes direct connection of digital cameras to the device more flexible. Customers can transfer their data directly and view it on 7 inch screen before pushing them off on social networking site or emails.

With this formidable rival in the market Apple Inc would definitely be forced to soon launch an improved version of iPad in the market.
