Google rewarding Nexus One owners with Android 2.2.1 Build FRG83

Being a Nexus One user has its own advantages as the biggest privilege has come in the form of Androids latest version Android 2.2.1 Build FRG83. The build has started to roll out over the air update to the Nexus One users.

If you are among the people who cannot wait for this update to reach your devices, then you can manually install it now. The build number is FRG83 and it updates the firmware version to Android 2.2.1. Given its size that is just 3.9 MB the build appears to be a minor update.

Google has rewarded the Nexus One users with this new Android 2.2.1 Build FRG83 as this would let the Nexus One users to get prompted to move forward with the update. Nexus One is the first off the blocks to receive Froyo update (Android 2.2) before anyone else could get it and now is yet again at the forefront of firmware updates, getting Android 2.2.1 this time around.
