HP Pavilion dv6-3013nr Review

If you’re looking for a budget laptop without compromising on style or specs then the dv6-3013nr is probably the best buy for you. Powered by an AMD Phenom II Triple-Core Mobile Processor N830 screaming at 2.1GHz with 1.5 MB L2 Cache this laptop can support up to 8 GB of DDR3 system memory.

Total storage of 320 GB is done on a fast 7200 RPM SATA Hard Drive. The laptop bundles Genuine Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit in the package.

The screen measures 15.6 inch diagonally and is HP’s High-Definition BrightView LED Display with a resolution of 1366 x 768. Drawing the screen is an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4250 Graphics processor with 128MB Display Cache Memory.

There’s a LightScribe SuperMulti 8X DVD±R/RW drive with Double Layer Support and Altec Lansing speakers belch out fairly loud Dolby Advanced Audio.

It has HP’s Imprint finish with the link design in Argento. HP’s TrueVision web cam with integrated digital microphone provides video chat capability even in low light conditions. Then there’s a 5-in-1 integrated Digital Media Reader along with an integrated Gigabit Ethernet and 802.11b/g/n supporting WLAN.

On the port front, there are 3 USB 2.0, 1 eSATA/USB, 1 HDMI, 1 VGA, 1 Headphone-out and 1 Microphone-in ports. The battery lasts for up to 4 hours per charge.
