If you’re not yet part of the new Xbox 360 System Update Preview program then you’re missing out on great new features that Microsoft plans to bring in this fall. So sign up and once your are selected, you can preview and experience the upcoming updates of the fall.

Given the fact voiced by none other than Major Nelson, the great Microsoft ambassador, that Microsoft is looking for multiple thousands of participants, it should be easy for anyone to get selected this early on.

The latest beta preview is live and brings some very cool and tasty updates to the UI. Besides the UI, the Avatars, the ESPN app, Netflix search capabilities and Zune, the music player and service that no one bought, get an overhaul and are now even more flashier! There’s also a brand new dashboard now.

Signing up for the beta is very easy. You just go to the sign-up site, enter all the info the form asks for and submit keeping fingers crossed and hoping that Microsoft selects you. Given the level of participation Microsoft is looking at there shouldn’t be any power ball odds here.

The new System Update should be available in November well before the holiday season begins if all goes as per the plan.
