Windows Phone 7 Launch Devices: HTC, Dell, LG and Samsung
Anxious about getting the new Windows 7, the mobile version? We thought of that, and so we made a short, nice list with all of the phones that will use it, and where you can get them from.
Dell Lightning
Dell Lightning will be distributed by T-Mobile, and it seems that it will hit the stores around winter holidays. It has a 4.1 inches wide display, while the rest of the specs are identical with the ones from the other phones. Remember, rumors say that its USA name will be Venue Pro.
LG Optimus 7Q or Quantum
This phone will have a 5 MP camera and a 3.5 inches display, while being able to store up to 16 GB. If you were still wondering, yes, it’s a triband HSPA (850/1900/2100 MHz). It will be sold through AT&T.
LG Optimus 7
Lg Optimus 7 has a bigger screen compared to 7Q – 3.7 inches- and will be release simultaneously in more countries. You will be able to get it in Europe via Vodafone and Movistar and Telus in Canada, while the date of launching is said to be October 21st this year.
HTC HD7
Will apparently be launched on October 21st by O2 in Europe, and it will feature about 16 GB of memory, which should be more than enough for whatever you might need. Besides that, the screen will be 4.3 inches wide, while HD7 will run based on a 1GHz Snapdragon processor. Add the ½ GB of RAM, and a great 5 MP camera, and there you have it.
HTC 7 Surround
Comes with a 3.8 inch screen, 578 MB of RAM, while incorporating a Dolby Mobile Sound system. If you live in Canada, you’ll be able to grab it in any AT&T store within the USA. Of course, they promise to launch it into winter holidays.
HTC 7 Pro
And while Europe will enjoy the Mozart and Trophy versions, North America will have the opportunity of grabbing the 7 Pro, a mobile phone that features, besides the basic characteristics, a 3.6 inches wide display and 16 GB of memory, that will allow you to store plenty of music or any other media files you might want to carry with you all the time.
Samsung Omnia 7
Will come to Europe around the holiday season this year, and it will be sold by more dealers, like T-Mobile, Orange and Movistar, while AT&T will sell it in the US, as rumors say that its North American name could be “Focus”. Its storage capacity will be either 8 or 16 GB (on customer’s choice), while this phone also comes with a 802.11 b/g/n/ Wi-Fi. The display will be 4 inches wide and it will be a touch screen. It already sounds more futuristic, don’t you think?
HTC Trophy
The HTC Trophy has 8 GB of memory, 576 MB of RAM and a great 3.7 inches-wide touch screen. Besides that, it also comes with latest portability tools, being equipped with both a Wi-Fi and a Bluetooth. Vodafone will take care of this mobile on Europe.
HTC Mozart
It’s equipped with a 3.7 inch touch screen display as its “brother” and the same size of the RAM, but what it does have different is the 8 MP camera equipped with Xenon Flash, compared to the standard 5 MP. It will be available in Europe through Orange.
What you should know is that all of the mobile phone from above run based on an extremely fast Snapdragon processor that can reach 1GHz, and they all have the same resolution: 800x 480.
Now it may seem easier for you to understand they way these phones work. But enough with talking, now we can only wait to get them.
