Apple announces iPhone and iPad subscription policy
Apple announced today the subscription policy for the iPhone and iPad. They are saying that the publishers, who want to sell magazines and newspapers for the iPad and iPhone, should give users the possibility of paying using the iTunes.
From each sale, Apple Inc. receives a 30% percent. Yet, Apple is not receiving any cent if users decide to leave the application and pay the service trough a web browser. This option will be also available for those who prefer to not use iTunes application.
People can buy already from iTunes the first iPad-only newspaper, News Corp. Unfortunately, Apple rejected recently Sony Corp.’s e-book reader app designed for iPhone, motivating this by the fact that this app is not give to the people the chance to buy books free from leaving the app for a website.
