Apple’s new MacBook pro could arrive today packing Thunderbolt, the new super-fast file transfer technology coming from Intel. Some spy-shots of the upcoming MacBook pro are showing us some interesting new features.
Next to the USB ports we can find a Mini Display Port-sized slot, along with a lightning bolt icon. The Thunderbolt is a new Light Peak High Speed I/O technology that promises us some amazing transfer speed of 10 GBps over copper wire. They even say that this technology can reach to peak 100 GBps.
Old rumors are saying that Apple’s new MacBook will include Intel i5 and i7 CPUs but also an integrated Intel 3000 graphic card. Yet, we can’t be sure by nothing until we will see it for real. The release of the MacBook pro is announced for today and the launch of iPad 2 for the next Wednesday. Stay in touch with us to find out more details as soon as they will be available.
