LG W2363V review

Costing only 306 dollars, the LG W2363V monitor has plenty of inputs so you will not struggle hooking up all your kit. Its shiny white and oval base will perfectly match with the smart white bezel, making a nice contrast with some black bar under its bottom.

On the rear of LG W2363V you can find the ports and connectors, arranged vertically. First you will find the DVI-D, then the VGA port, the RCA audio and the Component. You can also find a mini jack, which you will use for an audio in. next to it you will see a mains power connector. Two HDDMI connectors are sitting on the left side of this monitor, right near a headphone jack. These connectors will help you connect to it a DVD player or a TV set-top box.

The black bar is used to accommodate a series of lights, which are used by the device called Tru-Light. This one is activated by the audio signal, given by the display. On the right side of the screen you can find a rocker control which will control the pattern of those lights. This wouldn’t be that pleasant, especially when you want to watch a movie, if the lights couldn’t be stopped. Fortunately, those from LG have thought about this issue and implemented a feature that can do this for you.

The touch controls are kind of tricky to use. Happily, the auto-detect will help you select the picture in-put.  The LG W2363V uses the TN panel technology with LED backlights. Even if we had some bad experiences with monitors that use this technology, this one is special. The quality of the image is a real visual punch and could impress anyone who sees it.
