iPad battery life tests results: biggest battery life on the market?

To test the battery life of the new iPad 2 you should, first, have something to compare it with. We recommend you to use the original model of iPad 3G. Some gadget sites made already this test and published the results.  Like the IPad 3G, IPad 2 has the same battery life that lasts up to 10 hours. Actually, on Apple’s Ipad 2 official specs page they are saying that the battery lasts 10 hours while watching videos, surfing the web and listening to music.

So, for a proper battery life test, you should watch some movies, listen to some music and surf the web until the battery will die. The good news that you will find if you will do that, is that iPad 2 has a better battery life than it’s predecessor, the iPad 3G, but not by much. And also very important fact is that the recharging of the IPad 2 tablet takes much less than the recharge if the original iPad. This was a big problem with the original iPad and I think this was the biggest complain with Apple’s devices, generally.  But it is ok to know that the new models are charging faster.

Well, if you will test the new iPad 2 with the Garage band application, it will took only 2 seconds to start it where on the original iPad it took up to 6 seconds. And also, to attach a song to the e-mail on IPad 2 it took only 22 seconds, while on the original model lasts almost 25 seconds. This is not by much but still proves that iPad 2 is better than its elder brother. The original IPad lost dramatically when importing files from iTunes, the IPad 2 being twice faster.
