IE 9 final available for download

Today the IE9 final has been released by Microsoft. And yes, IE9 32-bit is fully compatible with the latest Norton products (2011 versions + 360 5.0). Unfortunately, 64-bit browsers (FF, IE) are not yet supported.

If you already have the IE 9 beta installed on your computer than you should know that Microsoft offers full support to help you upgrade it. As a resume of their support page, If you have the old beta, remove it, then install RTM. But if you have RC (beta was updated to RC via Windows Update), just install RTM over it. However, a clean installation it is always better so you can uninstall the old version of the browser and install the new one.

However if you had successfully installed the IE 9 beta on your widows 7 or Windows Vista system you will not be able to use the final version of IE 9 on your windows 7 system. This might sound a little bit unusual but there is a catch first u need to install Windows 7 Service Pack 1 before Windows 7 let’s you install the final version of IE9.
