Asus Eee Pad Transformer Tablet review

Asus announced the launch of a new tablet, the Eee Transformer Tablet. Eee Transformer is a Honeycomb Tablet and you can turn the tablet into a notebook thanks to the optional keyboard docking station.

Powered by NVIDIA Tegra dual core processor, Eee Pad Transformer displays web pages with lightning speed, providing a fast response and good performance in multitasking. It has an IPS panel made of durable scratch-resistant glass, clearer color reproduction, and it is 50% more accurate compared with other tablets on the market. The panel is visible at an angle of 178 degrees.

SRS sound technology provides a dynamic 3D stereo sound experience with maximum bass response, and a wide sound generated by speakers placed in the back case. A 5 MP camera is located in the back and a 1.2 MP in front.

Transformer differentiates itself from other tablets by having a detachable keyboard, available on option. It can offer a full QWERTY keyboard with function keys for Android, transforming the tablet in a notebook. Transformer is preloaded Polaris Professional Office 3.0 a office suite, which allows users to edit different types of files like documents (.doc) spreadsheets (. xls) and presentations (. Ppt).

A touchpad, a 3.5mm audio jack, two USB ports and a card reader built, for easy file sharing and storage extension.

Eee Pad Transformer tablet is an interesting portable device that provides support for both office applications and for personal communication.
